The Ministry of Interior of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has reaffirmed its commitment in collaborating with the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) in conducting the forthcoming Computer-Based Test (CBT) for recruitment of new cadets into the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) and the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) therefore, ensuring honesty, transparency, justice and equity in the process.
We are pleased to inform you that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) who is saddled with the responsibility of conducting exams for students seeking admission into Nigerian tertiary institutions and also offer them admissions is collaborating with the Ministry of Interior in conducting the CBT entrance exam for new cadets into the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps and also the Nigeria Immigration Service.
This collaboration which is aimed at giving well-meaning Nigerians who applied for different positions under the ministry is to give equal opportunities to everyone to be employed into the various services under the ministry and also to showcase the transparency thrust of the present administration in running government business.

Prior to this, it would be recalled that the Minister of Interior and Chairman, Civil Defense, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), recently assured Nigerians that the Ministry will ensure transparency in the recruitment processes in to the services; to this end, the Ministry has concluded arrangements with the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board to conduct the entrance examination for eligible candidates into the Nigeria Immigration Service on the 7th of December 2020 while that of the NSCDC is expected to hold on 8th December, 2020 across the 36 States of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
How to Access your NSCDC and NIS CBT Status
Qualified candidates can have access to their notification for the aptitude tests for CBAT from 6pm on 1st December, 2020 through their e-mail addresses and phone numbers.
Accordingly, all candidates who applied should visit the Website of the Service at https://immigrationrecruitment.org.ng while those who applied for NSCDC and subsequently updated their educational records are to visit cdfipb.careers to print individual letters of invitation.
